Barle Valley Safaris is licensed as a Public Service Vehicle Operator in accordance with the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981.
Our Landrover has been inspected, modified as necessary and registered as a Public Service Vehicles licensed to carry 8 passengers.
The vehicle is fully serviced at six month intervals.
Under the Public Service Vehicle regime the vehicle is examined rigorously at an approved facility at ten week intervals in addition to the less comprehensive annual MOT.
The Landrover is checked and cleaned daily before the start of safari operations. Any deficiencies are rectified immediately.
Duncan Waller holds a Certificate of Professional Competence in National Passenger Transport Operations and is qualified to work in a professional capacity in an undertaking responsible for road passenger transport.
